A breathing companion that invites new rituals of self healing, rematerialising presence, agency, and companionship beyond the human.
Return to Bloom is a responsive kinetic sculpture, gently shaped like a flower. Inspired by the Balinese ritual Canang Sari, a daily offering symbolising balance and care, it is crafted from metal and bioplastic, striking a delicate balance between strength and fragility. Using piezoelectric sensors and computer vision, it responds to breath, and presence, moving softly in a quiet, intimate dialogue. More than something to observe, it is meant to be encountered and felt. Return to Bloom invites stillness - a return to the body, to silence, and to shared space, where boundaries dissolve and healing begins, one tender breath at a time.
