GROWinK

Living prints that return to nature.

GROWinK merges CMYK inkjet technology with fungi and bacteria, transforming print into a living, self- decomposing medium. From posters to textiles, these prints no longer end as waste; instead, they evolve, fade, and return to nature.

Petroleum-based dyes are replaced with fungal pigments, with each
hue emerging from a specific stage of fungal growth, influenced by biological rhythms and environmental conditions. Embedded in the ink are dormant bacterial spores that remain inactive until exposed to humidity or landfill-like environments. Once activated, these spores break down synthetic substrates, converting them into nutrients that nourish soil ecosystems.

GROWinK is more than just ink - it’s a biological interface where colour breathes, communication decomposes, and every print becomes part of a regenerative cycle.
