Nailed

Reshaping nail salon waste into organic forms using 3D printing.

Nailed transforms discarded nail salon waste into a material for new possibilities. Nails are thrown away after a single use, contributing to plastic waste. This project challenges that cycle by using 3D printing to give these single-use plastics a second life in unexpected forms.

The resulting 3D-printed nails, both organic and sculptural, serve as proof that waste can be reimagined into something beautiful and functional. Beyond simply reshaping discarded materials, Nailed encourages a shift in perspective - inviting designers, artists, and innovators to see waste as a valuable creative resource, sparking new ideas for reuse, sustainability, and reinvention.
